Fire Sprinkler Technician

Installs, maintains, repairs, or replaces fire sprinkler equipment and systems in strict accordance with applicable codes and standards 

Qualifications:

• Must have one (1) or more years of experience with wet and dry fire sprinkler systems

• Must be able to operate electrical, mechanical, or hydraulic equipment including, but not limited to : power machines, wrenches, lifts, ladders, all hand tools, drills, grooving machines, saws, test pumps, shovels, personal protective equipment, as well as electronic communication equipment

• Must be familiar with fire sprinkler, fire pumps pre-action dry pipe systems.  Fire alarm systems knowledge is a bonus.

• Excellent working knowledge of NFPA 25, NFPA-13, NFPA-25, NFPA-20 and other applicable codes and standards

• Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to clear a pre-employment criminal background check and drug screening

• Must obtain and retain any licenses and certifications that are required by state and / or local codes
